Monteco Timeline

  • November 2018: Monteco and AutoServe1 has moved to a new and more modern office at 55 St.Clair W., Suite 408.

  • June 2017: ECOInsight Instruments was re-branded to Riptide Tek Inc. The new brand would help the organization become more recognizable to the fluid handling market.

2014

  • Monteco founded Monnsoon, a company that specializes in the development of software concepts that offer Big Data opportunities.
  • Autoserve1 is acquired to focus on the aftermarket auto parts sector.
  • Green Turtle Technologies and Filamat Composities were divested to Zurn Engineered Water Systems.

2013

  • ECOInsight  Instruments was established to provide robust smart sensor technology for industrial, commercial and municipal applications.
  • Imbrium Systems is divested to Contech Engineered Solutions LLC.

 

2012

 

2008

  • The research and development centre moved to a 23,000 square foot facility in Mississauga, Ontario.

 

  • Monteco founded Imtex Membranes to develop and commercialize advanced membrane separation technology in the petrochemical industry.

 

  • Monteco opened an 8,000 square foot research and development centre in Brampton, Ontario to support it’s portfolio companies.

 

  • Green Turtle Americas opened its U.S. headquarters in Charlotte, North Carolina.

 

  • Monteco founded Biox Corporation, now Canada’s largest producer of biodiesel fuel. Biox was created to develop and commercialize a disruptive biodiesel production technology that was invented at the University of Toronto.

 

  • Monteco incorporated its first U.S. based business, Imbrium Systems, and opened its head office in Washington, D.C.

 

  • Monteco was founded in December of 1991.
  • Monteco launched the patented Stormceptor™ product line.
